The Kia Amanti is worth the money! If you gave me the option between this car and a gift card of the same value...I’d take the car! (That’s how you know that your car is good).

Yep, that’s a keeper alright. Nearly at the bottom of the curve, baby! My curve just looks a little different from the one typically suggested is all...

I haven’t had the chance to drive one yet, but I like them. There’s an Asian sensibility to the car: a bit taller in aspect than, say, a Lincoln and plenty of glass. And about 3/4 to 7/8 scale of an American counterpart. I’ve read the ride and handling are a bit slushy, and that there are a few maintenance issues, buy my impression generally is that the South Koreans build a pretty decent car. And this may be a model that was sold new with a 10 yr / 10k mile warranty. And I think the V6 engine is fairly strong.

What model year range are you talking about?

This is a 2006. I prefer the late end of the 2003-2006 run than the 2007-2009. That’s personal preference though. I dont care for any car at the front end of a powertrain life cycle or around the 2007-2009 area when everyone had to figure out how to cut the cost on already built cars and make money as America imploded.
